Workmec alongside the community: A.P.I.C.E. is born, a social project in which we play a leading role

At Workmec we believe that doing business today also means giving value back to the local area. This is why we have chosen with conviction to support the birth of A.P.I.C.E. – Associazione Progetti in Collettiva Esigenza, a non-profit association based in Cornate d’Adda that aims to promote dialogue, active participation and concrete support for the local community.

The project was born from the initiative of five local entrepreneurs united by the desire to give life to an association capable of transforming ideas into concrete actions, providing time, experience and resources to generate a positive impact.

A social commitment we share

A.P.I.C.E. represents a concrete opportunity to really listen to citizens’ needs, create connections and build real answers, starting from the very territory we live and serve every day.

One of the first tools put in place by the association is the Citizen’s Desk: an accessible reference point where every citizen can receive support, guidance and listening.

There are two fundamental initiatives within the help desk:

- The Listening Space, dedicated to discussion and sharing, with quarterly meetings open to citizenship to collect proposals, doubts, reports and encourage active participation.
- The Support Line, designed to provide immediate help in the event of difficulties or emergencies involving the community, while waiting for definitive solutions.

Supporting A.P.I.C.E. is a natural gesture for us: it means believing in change, in corporate social responsibility, in the power of collaboration.
