Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

W. Churchill

The importance of setting goals

What is the unit of measurement of success? Everyone has their own yardstick, there are no absolute terms. However, there are necessary stages, which are defined over time, determined by the actions each person takes to achieve the desired results.

Each stage is indispensable to ensure the achievement of goals. Without each of them, it is not possible to define a path that leads to concrete results, to achieving objectives.

Workmec was founded in 1993 as a family-run business, specialising in mechanical engineering. As all large companies that start out from a small garage, the initial thrust was supported by an idea and the desire to test themselves. Our core business was chosen almost by chance, following a meeting with a supplier who set us a challenge: building a machine for the production of baskets, with the aim of making it the best on the market. The goal was achieved.

This success kicked off a step-by-step growth which meant that Workmec, in the space of almost 30 years, opened four sites located in different areas, entirely managing all the procedures related to the production of filtration baskets and positioning itself among the world’s leading players in the industry.

What are the foundations for achieving success? Hard to say, but behind every success story there are always a great commitment to what you do and the self-discipline to keep doing it.
